Question: Y & R!.!.!.Ever notice how the writers always make Italians the mobsters!?
Is that the only safe country/people to insult!? What about cooking and cuisine from there!? What about pizza-making!? And why does no one ever go to a pizza place there or order pizza!? Seems abnormal to me, esp with the college kids on there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unfortunately, its a stereotype!. But, don't forget the good italian cooking of Gina Roma that everyone orders!. I heard a few people order her lasagne and/ spaghetti meals!. I believe Lily and Devon have ordered pizza on the show, I don't know if it was from Ginas though!. On the Guiding Light the mob was from Mexico!. Atleast CBS is equal opportunityWww@Enter-QA@Com

I guess it goes back to the traditional mobsters of long ago that really were Italian and living in New York!. Like Bob Gotti and all those guys!. And the old mobsters that owned half of Las Vegas back in the day!.
It's at this point just a funny traditon!. I also think that the Italians have other stuff to worry about than the possible type casting of mobsters!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well l always wonder why:
Dru came from the streets, and came to GC where her aunt Mamee was the maid for the Abbotts and Dru used to come thru the maids quarters/kitchen to get something to eat!.
Her sister married a man who became HIV positive and her brother-in-law got her pregnant!.
She eventually rescued Devon who was in a foster home and the son of a drug addict and now his aunt and cousin came on the show and they're homeless/jobless!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but hey l'm not complaining!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
