Question: Y&R: Restless style is failing!?
On launch day they kept reporting sellouts of the magazine all over the place, now they are saying it didn't sell well!. What is up with that!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think they've been taking the easy way out by not listening to their own instincts and relying on the so called expert advice of the fashionista dictators!.The first cover was oh so typical something we see all the time so it wasn't anything new or special!. Personally I'd never buy a magazine cover with a barbie cover model on it!.How do ya spell BORING!.!.!.!.
The second issue might do a little better but not with the older consumers!.The not so happy foursome needs to remember that they're just starting out and it takes time to get a new business going!. They're going to make mistakes , even fumble but the important thing is to keep working at it!. Even their divergent opinions can be turned into something productive depending on their willingness to remain open & flexible on certain issues!.Seriously, if the magazine failed I'd take it as an example of bad writing and short term sight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unfortunately like Debbie R!. said, the day the first issue came out the sales were soaring, but in the end the overall the sales weren't so hot!
If my memory is correct, that is exactly what Victor predicted would happen!.
I think I remember him saying that by the third or fourth issue the magazine would be a complete failure!
I really hope this doesn't happen for Nick's sake!.

That will be bad enough, but to make matters even worse the magazines failure will make Adam look even more like the perfect son and Nick a total screw up in Victor's eyes!.

Somehow I don't think that the magazine is failing as of yet!. However, if the partners don't get their act together, it will go nowhere except down!. The concept was a good one, now that need to agree on what customers they want to target!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
