Question: A question about Stephen from season one of Top Chef!.!.!.!?
Does anybody else out there think he exhibits asperger tendencies!? I have dated a man with aspergers, my little brother has it, and so do a couple of my cousins, so I know what it looks like!. I was just watching reruns on bravo and it seems to me that his obsession with wine, his relentless need to always be right, his social awkwardness and the fact that no one really got along with him, the way he was always compulsively trying to "educate" people on the show and his inability to change these habits after they're brought up to him again and again seem to point right at aspergers!. I am not, by any means, saying there is anything wrong with it, some of the greatest geniuses of all time were thought to display asperger tendencies and may have indeed had it!. I just wanted to know what people out there thought about this idea!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love Top Chef and I've been watching it since the first season!. Stephen is probably one of my least favorite characters from every season!. I think he's super annoying!.
One of my friends growing up had a brother with aspergers!. It's hard to judge someone from a television show because of all the editing, but when I compare Stephen to my friends brother I really don't see anything similar!. I think Stephen just picked a role in a reality show to get more airtime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
