I don't vote because I can't compete with the 13 year olds that vote 600 times for two straight hours. I have to go to bed man. I'm old.

Um...except for the fact that Michael Johns sucked this week! He was OBVIOUSLY the worst performer of the week.
That's not to say he's not a good performer...just that he had some really good competition.
I think the bottom three this week was exactly as it should have been, based on their performances.
I also think the voting should be free maybe that would make the show more humble. They are taking everyones money and in the meantime, obviously the rich are getting more say on the outcome because they could afford to vote 1000 times if they wanted to, easily...

I agree it was crazy that Michael John went home! But i'm willing to take the chance and keep calling whether its manipulated or not! Its at least worth a try right?

I haven't voted at all this year. Known of them really are standing out for me this year. One week they are good and the next not so good. But I have to admit I was really shocked last night. He definitely was one of the better ones. We all know that little kid is going to win, because of all the little girls that are voting. And I for one, won't buy his record. I just don't see him as an "IDOL"
I have to disagree with "abfabmom". Johns was not the worst performer this week. As I recall, Sayesha, Carly and even the almighty David Cook did not come out unscathed by the judges. On dialidol.com, David Cook was in the bottom 3 with Carly and Sayesha, NOT Michael Johns. There are at least 3 contenstants on that show that should have gone before him. As for continuing to vote...I am a fan of David A. so my votes will continue to go to him. Michael Johns was my second fave.

Yes they probably do decide who stays but you still should vote (it's a toll free number).
Think about it, they base some of their decisions on voting. If a contestant had a bunch of votes & another contestant didn't because his fans knew Idol was rigged, WHO DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD CHOOSE, if they had to choose between the two? The fact is, they choose who goes but they base a lot of what they choose on the voters. So essentially, your vote isn't a waste.
