American Idol protest!?!
Question: We all agree that Michael Johns should still be in. I know I voted and it appears that everyone is shocked about this, so why not Boycott. You know their ratings mean the world to them so if they want America's real vote they will get it by not having any viewers!

You and me AND my boyfriend will boycott then. I am Canadian but it will still affect the ratings. I was waiting for an invitation like this from an American. I am going to watch Hell's Kitchen every week instead. Let's join a coalition!
P.S they still have not explained why he wasn't given a second chance and Jordin was.
There are a handful of people who like Micheal Johns, but obviously there were more people that didn't. If he's that good, then he will go on, make an album, and be great. I personally didn't like him and I think that he should have been voted off. It's stupid to make such a big deal (like boycotting the show) just because your favorite person get's voted off.
What about the millions of teenagers that like David A. and Jason C.?
Most people (like the david a. fans) don't care about Michael Johns being eliminated so they won't boycott. I loved Michael but I'm still going to watch the show. I loved David H. and was really upset but I still watched. Same thing with Michael, I am just as upset as anyone else but it doesn't mean I'm going to boycott AI.
I agree with you. I don't know that I will watch it now. Kristy Lee Cook should have gone home before him. Maybe he will get lucky and have Daughtry success.

It’s clearly obvious that “everyone” voted for Michael Johns. It is physically impossible that anyone else could’ve voted for any of the other contestants. It’s a good thing that no one is exaggerating here.
Yes! from now on i will not be part of the silly studid American idol show... it's a scam.. They have voted off 2 of the best idols: Ramiele Malubay and Michael John. I know that each week one idol should go, but this is not the time yet for Malubay and M John... Kristy Lee, Syesha, Carly, Brooke can go off ahead of Ramiele and Michael.. sorry but from now on American idol to me scrap scam show!!!!!!!!!!! grrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!

That won't work hon. We all went through this before with Chris Daughtry and it worked out wel for him didn't it? Michael Johns may turn out to be the idol from season 7 with the highest number of albums sold. Who knows! He wouldn't have won anyway. not with David Cook and the Archulator teenage vote to contend with.
I think that's a creative idea but there are other talent's on the show worth watching. If you could get a large scale of people to not watch it, that would be great, it would work. But I'm afraid that wouldn't be possible...too many people love the show and it's hard to get the word around. It's just to tempting...but I agree that it should be brought to the attention of everyone that Michael Johns should still be on the show!!
considering there are millions of idol lovers who would never ever miss an episode, i refuse to stop watching. i admit michael should still be on the show, but we all know that he wouldnt have won. theres just better competition out there
Actually, I don't think he should still be in. He didn't impress me and I've never really liked him from the beginning. I think America made the right choice. A boycott would never work because Idol has way too many fans across the country. Not everyone will stop watching because one contestant gets voted off.
