And right away she goes to a lawyer to sue just like in Florida. If life isn't fair to you, sue.
I sort of feel bad for her because that has to be a hard thing to be told and they didn't exactly handle it the right way. "We were wrong and oh, by the way tell the actual winner." They should have called them both into a meeting and spoke to her first. But, they are letting her keep the jewels and paying her back money spent. Suing the organization is what is bringing this to public attention.
Of course it was Florida's fault. The people who counted the ballots for the 2000 election now work for the Miss Universe Pagent organization. (Fl resident)
