Question: ive missed a bunch of episodes of as the world turns. . . i thought the current shows were still about the 'teen slasher' as i wrong?? did that happen a long time ago and im just really confused? i mean the last i knew, because ive been keeping up on youtube, that the viewer didnt know who the killer was yet. . .. and the last episode i watched Maddie had just told Henry about their brother in law raping her

First off, one of these answers was for a different soap..beacause nobody on ATWT is named stephano.....
Anyways...this storyline is very old, at least 2 years I would say. I am curious how your so behind. I would suggest going to the "as the world turnes" website, which does have daily recaps, that alone will keep you up to date. But, here is what I remember:
There was a killer on the loose, nobody knew who it was, but some suspected Maddy. The kids went out to a lake to celebrate something, graduation perhaps, and the killer started killing more and more people. This was happening when ATWT was doing that show "intern" and the "kids" being killed off were from that show. Anywho..... you know how soaps go, we were left in suspense, trying to guess who it was...maddy told henry about the rape, but not who did it...then she told him is was her sisters husband. Meanwhile he was in the picture acting like he was trying to help her....henry figured it out, the guy who raped her got killed, and then we all found out it was maddys sister. She was the killer all along, and like an above poster said...blamed maddy for the "rape" saying it was maddy who seduced her husband.
Maddy isn't even on the soap anymore, when her boyfriend casey went away to jail she got involved with Noah who later turned out to be gay (and is now dating Luke)....so when she was offered a scholarship to a school away, he went ahead and left. So, maddy and her storyline with the crazy sister is off the show. Henry is still on though.
Like I said, keep yourself updated with the website, because however your doing it now has you seriously behind.

That storyline was like 2-3 summers ago. the slasher was Maddie and Henrys crazy sister. Are you in the US? Because i know that we are ahead of other countries storyline wise. The sister (I forget her name) blamed Maddie for "seducing" her husband and kinda lost her mind.
At least i think thats what it was. I know it was her sister that was the slasher but i can't remember her reasons for it.
How can you be confused???? I watched this soap for a summer back in 1982 and never again until recently... they were doing the same ole stuff... John has amnesia this time, last time in 82 it was Marlena... Curious, what is Stephano doing these days?? is he evil again or on the good side??
