I want Gina on more- she's the only bigger woman in GC. Also,we have Stephanie on B&B. Thank Goodness! (But she gets no male attention. There are lots of men who like bigger women.)
And Hope on Days has cheekbones so prominent it hurts me to watch. She used to be so very lovely.

I am also so tired of these teeny tiny women. Big woman are sexy too. We can look great in the right clothes and all. Thick woman are awesume
Ashlee on GL is a real sized girl. Not some 5'1" 95lb beauty. I agree they are all really tiny. I guess they think it plays better.
Y&R had Tracy she was an teenager feeling unworthy b/c of her weight etc... but that was like 20 years ago and I know there was another show who had a really great character who was full-sized she even had the hot guy.
GREAT QUESTION. I hope someone remembers the lady I am talking about. I think she was on an ABC soap. i just remember the talk in the soap opera digests.
They never really show anyone on a soap even eating. Sure they are always at some diner or whatever, but there is always some major crisis that breaks out before the first bite is eaten.
I agree! I was happy to see the character Ashley on Guiding Light. She's a symbol for all plus sized women out there.
I know, have you checked out Kendall on AMC, they pole danced the other day and you couldn't tell her fromthe pole. It would be nice in a show that is geared toward women to see more real looking women!
It's a prerequisite for being on one I think. The onw I notice is on AMC the Kendall character. If you look at her sideways, from stomach to spine she looks to be about 3 inches thick. I know this sounds silly but I wonder how there is room in there for all the innards the rest of us have.

Check out Marcy on One Life To Live ! She actually may be a size 14-16 and was in the diner the other day first eating french fries, then stuffing her cute face with chocolate cake! She is an adorable character, and I am sooo glad she hasn't felt the the peer pressure to be a size 3!
