Oprah's Big Give question... where was the High Hope place they were talking!
Question: Last night (3/2/08) on the first show of Oprah's Big Give they granted wishes for a couple that started a group called High Hope but I couldn't ever figure out where it was. I have a cousin involved with a group for hanicapped people called High Hope in Atlanta GA but I'm not sure if this is the same group. Can anyone tell me if the one on the show was in Atlanta? Thanks!

It was actually in Temecula, California. All the "gives" were in the area surrounding Los Angeles, and Temecula isn't far from L.A. Here's a link to Temecula's website where they mention the High Hopes program.

I thought it was High Hope in California. Wow, wouldn't that be great if it was Atlanta were your cousin works for.

Oprah is WAY too much into O these days. i used to LOVE her, but i cant even stand to keep the dial on anymore...not only that, my kids come home from school and has topics on that used to be TABU for school age kids...now she talks bout sex, this and that and things that embarrass ME!!! im sorry but she is just way into the O these days. its a shame
Since she has become a purveyor of FALSE religious doctrine and beliefs, I am refusing to watch both her talk show and the Big Give PLUS I will condemn everything she says regarding this "new" religious philosophy she seems to be taking. She has become a false prophet and is leading many people from the Word of God.
