Why have channel 4 stopped showing ugly betty?!

writers strike..the writers of the show just stopped writing..but dont worry ..its gone be back at either at april or at the beginning of the semester.......
PS: i luv ugly betty too its gr8..u hve a gr8 taste in series

There was a writer's strike and all the shows writers went on strike because they only got paid one while the actors got paid once every show. The writers strike in gone and all the shows are coming back this spring.
because of the writer's strike. it will be back in a few weeks though.
There was a writer's strike so they had no more new episodes. The strike is now over and, according to TV guide, this is the tentative schedule.
Ugly Betty
Expected to shoot 5 new episodes to air beginning April 24.
