I agree with you. I get confused like soaps I never heard of. Like Eastlanders. Where is that soap at.
But soaps like AMC, GH, DOOL, Y&R, ect are American soaps. Altough I know ppl in Canda can get Y&R.
I know where some of the soaps are,too.
DOOL, GH are out in California
AMC, OLTL is in NY
The rest I haven't gotten to yet to figuring out.
She was asking about Coronation Street (also known as Corrie) which is a UK soap.
Eastenders is british..... and its shown in america but no offence but I do not say people putting "american soap" before putting theres on like "General Hospital" or whatever its called.
Not that I am bothered anyway so why post a question on it?
Well....if you are on here for more than a few days, you figure it out for yourself....I only watch one soap faithfully(Y&R) and another soap(AMC) sometime. ....If someone is asking about Corrie, Eastenders or even Days of our Lives, I don't even try to answer those questions because I don't watch them.
It really doesn't matter which country the soap belongs to. If you know about the soap, answer the question; if you don't know about the soap, let it be. If you are interested in that particular soap ask a question about it then soemone can set you straight.

i agree that putting the country the soap is from is unnecessary. if u've been here a while u can tell the difference, if u're a new comer u will figure it out soon enough. if u're a british soap viewer u answer the questions posted about ur shows, american soap watchers do the same for theirs. if a british soap question catches ur attention then u ask about it. (i've done several times) also american soap viewers can click on the tab on the side and pick only usa questions, it will weed out all the british questions. unfortunately the brits can't weed out american questions.
but its not that big a deal. i'm not even in america but i do get to see the american soaps and i did follow hollyoaks when i was in the uk so i'm glad i can keep up with y!a. calm down ppl there is no need to yell or get aggressive... woo sah! say it with me woo sah!
