Due To The Writers Strike... What If????!

Question: What if they just cancel all the running shoes and next fall they'll just have all new shows.... I hope this doesn't happen, But If it did I think that there would be shows kinda like the one's before or they would make a spin off of a popular show...that got cancelled cause of the writers strike... I would really hate if they cancelled all shows...like on the big networks like ABC and NBC... What would ya think if this happened??????

Without writers, there's nobody to write the new shows. In fact, that's actually becoming an issue thanks to the strike. Normally the studios go through scripts and pilots around this time of year to decide which ones to possibly pick up for fall. This is pilot season in Hollywood. But since there are no writers working, there are no pilots or scripts. This means that if the strike doesn't end soon there won't be any new shows debuting in the fall, with the exception of more reality shows.

im not really bothered. shouldnt let tv rule your life.

The studios suck, that`s all I have to say

even if they made new shows, they would still have to hire writers to write them. since most of the writers belong to the Writers Guild, it's very unlikely that they will find people willing to do the job because if someone does decide to write for the shows, they would not be able to join the Writers Guild. they would miss out on its benefits and protection, and its really not something writers want to be ostrasized from. so this = no new shows. i think that if all the shows were cancelled countless people would be out of work, and that's not something the economy can handle right now

I don't watch much TV so it doesn't affect me at all.
I watch a bit of reality TV.
I don't think those require a writer..
