How did they write off the character Pru on the show Charmed?!
Question: It was the demon Shax. In that episode, Prue and Piper were exposed using magic by a tv reporter, and everything went crazy. There were reporters and people outside their house, and it was a huge frenzy. Piper ended up getting shot and killed by this lady, and so the sisters found a way to turn back time. When they did, Shax attacked them at the manor, and Prue died.
That is the story as well as I can remember. They never really show her dying - just the attack, and in the next episode, it shows Piper really upset, and explains that Prue is dead.
