AMC fans and the replacements?!
Question: Did you have more of a problem with the replacement Greenlee (Sabine) or the current replacement of Babe. I think Sabine did a better job at Greenlee than the new Babe is doing

I agree with you the new babe can't cut it. At least Sabine looked and acted like Greenlee, we just needed to get used to her.
the New babe doesn't even resemble the old one and her looks doesn't go with the way she was supposed to have been raised, Babe was poor and raised in a trailer park and from motel to motel. New one is to high and might for that. I don't think I will ever see her as the right one for this part. But have to deal with it i guess.
I had more of a problem with the new babe, and I am glad to see the old greenlee back.
I like Sabine and I do not like the new Babe
I have more of a problem with the current Babe. She doesn't seem anything like the former Babe, and I think the scab writers are writing her differently than the other Babe. And, I don't think she has any "chemistry" with Krystal. They seem more like distant friends than Mother and Daughter.
As for Greenlee, they both are ok, but I think the way they got rid of Sabine was rotten. I hope she gets something good.
At first I didn't welcome the Greenlee recast, being a big fan of the original Greenlee, but as time wore on I really liked Sabine as Greenlee! It was sad to see her go! But I liked the new Babe a lot more than the original Babe and would be sad to see this Babe be unrecasted!
I liked Sabine AND the new Babe. I hated Alexa Havins. Glad to be rid of her.
I didn't care for Sabine at first, but think she truly grew into the part. I also believe if the current Babe is given time, she'll make the part her own as well, I do have a big problem with how AMC/ABC handled the replacement of Sabine with the "Real Greenlee" c**p. That was totally unprofessional, disrepectful and insulting to both Sabine and the fans who had grown to like her in the part. And if they think that's going to improve their ratings, then I truly, truly understand why ratings are down - THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT WHAT FANS WANT!!!!
Definitely have more of a problem with the replacement for Babe. I think Alexa was awesome! The way they're writing her, it doesn't even feel like she's playing as Babe.
I didn't really care for Sabine, but I do think it's awful how they got rid of her, but all the same, I'm glad the "original" not "real" is back. I hope Sabine gets a good job lined up pretty quick.
I dont like the new Babe at all....Alexa did a much better job...as far as Greenlee goes, well I never cared for her character to begin with, but Im glad the "original" is back!
I sort of got used to Sabine being Greenlee after a while. But I just can't warm up to the new Babe, I'm afraid.
I had a problem with both. There are just some charcters that don't do well with recasting, those were 2 of them. I didn't like Babe or Greenlee when they 1st came to town but the actresses made me like them. Now, I could care less about Babe.

I absolutely LOVED Sabine Singh as Greenlee and took to the recast so much that I became a regular viewer of All My Children. The chemistry she had with Aiden Turner (as well as the other guys on the cast) was HOT, and her Greenlee was so much more likeable and had more depth than the original. She could have been brought in as original character and I wish ABC had done that if they were not 100% sure Rebecca was never coming back!
As far as Amanda Baker she is "different" as Babe and I don't have a problem with the actress herself, I just don't think she's in a good storyline so that kind of makes people judge her more harshly than if the writing was at its best. I don't think she should feel secure in her job given that SS had grown on people but was dumped. AB probably will be out eventually too regardless of whether she grows on us...
Well, I had to get used to seeing Sabine Singh in the role of Greenlee. She looks a lot like Rebecca Budig, and she slid into the role like a champ. At the end of her run, I have to say, I like her. I liked her with Aiden Turner; they looked like they might hook up in real life. As for Rebecca and Aiden playing off of each other, right now, it looks fake, but I hope they'll work it out soon.
As for the actress playing Babe, I can't stand her! I don't know how those other actors can stand being in the room with her. I wonder if she ever sees any of the stuff the fans are writing about her. She really should pursue another role. I can't say she's a bad actress, because she's not; it's just that the role of Babe Carey belongs to Alexa Havins. She created Babe, she has breathed so much life and caring into Babe, she IS Babe! And, as I read somewhere about Alexa, she can play white trash with her eyes closed. This other girl is so much white bread, she's gooey. Babe is all wrong for her.
I guess she'll stay until Alexa and Justin come home.
