Yes. There are two types of people. Ones who watch a lot of TV and those who don't have a TV.

no, it is not addictive, it is just stimulating to your vrain, which causes you to want to watch more. its impossible to be addicted, i would use the word obbsesed
yuppppppp but if youre able to leave it off for a while and not really care or record stuff then its not really a problem
it can be if you have the right combination of channels

Yes, I think so... I'm hooked on few shows.
Although I am starting to watch less, now that everything is a rerun due to the writers strike.

yea, it can be if you dont have anything better to do
Yes, try the Internet , you will learn more
yes for people that have nothing better to do and have a satelite and all .
i dont , so i berly watch TV if i do , im a critic moment ...BOREDOM lol.

yes.
As an extra fact, both the TV and the computer use one of the most common forms of hypnosis: hundreds of flashes every second.
lol it depends on what you're wtaching
and if you like it,
im more addicted to com lol
Yes it can be, but so is the internet. I think the best way to get rid of the addiction is to just get rid of the source, i.e. cable TV or internet connection. You'd be surprised how quickly you'll pick your imagination back up for other things to fill your time with.
Yes!
It was so annoying, my friend was addicted to T.V. You should have seen it, her eyes were wide and glued to it whenever it was turned on. The only way to take her mind off of it was to turn it off.
Whenever I went to her house guess what we would be doing?? Watching TV! So, I usally just went home. she didn't even notice, lol!!
So, yes, its addictive.
For me no but, if i am sick and am off school yes.
Definately. Think of all the times late at night one sits in front of the TV when nothing is on but Buns of Steel or Loose Juicer infomercials...and you actually watch it! Think of all the music videos that are on TV again and again, even though the same song is played 6 or 7 times a day on the radio. Look at how much fluff is on reality shows and movie stars that is totally irrelevant to life and improving it.
I would say thats the reason why I got rid of my TV. Before my girlfriend and I lived together, I didn't have one. After that, we got one and I was just watching Iron Chef, Top Chef, ESPN and Comedy Central. When I found out all this stuff could simply be watched on the internet, skipping commercials, I just said squash it and got rid of the thing. My utility bill is less now and I only pay for internet at half the cost of cable.
TV, like all addictive substances, should only be used in moderation. {~_^}
