You need to "Crack" them so that you can access the content.
For starters, here is a website specifically for topics like this:

Second, you will need a program to "Back Up" your disks and my personal fave is DVDFab HD Decrypter. (Search it on VideoHelp.com for DL locations)
After you "Crack" it you can use a program like DVDShrink to reencode it to fit on a standards DVD+R disk. You are legally able to create a "Back Up Copy" of the content that was legally purchased.
Then you can put the origionals in the box and never need to worry about scratching or losing your legally purchased DVD Disks.
After that you will need a program to convert it to .avi, .mpg, or another supported, editable, video format and I use "Super" for that. (Again, search for it on VideoHelp.com for DL Locations)
You can find all sorts of guides and help on http://www.videohelp.com and they will tell you step by step what programs to use and how to do it.
Oh, and everything I have recomended is F R E E.
Do NOT pay for any program when you can go to VideoHelp.com and get freeware and/or shareware programs that do the same exact things that the expensive programs do.
