Where does 'deal or no deal' get the money to give away?!

Question: also, if it is on and a contesent comes back... is that in a week, or the next day... when do I watch for the continued episode?

Also, has anyone ever gotten the million?

A national television show charges thousands of dollars for a 30 second advertisement. The more viewers, the higher the cost. Those dollars are used to pay the bills; the profits to stock holders; and of course, the prizes awarded.

It would actually help NBC if someone FINALLY won the million dollar prize because it would be a boon to their audience. Because this show does not require the writers now on strike, this show can continue with new episodes and may even go on multiple nights a week just like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" several years ago.

Sponsors of the show is where the money comes from and no one has won the million yet. The strike is full on in Hollywood and there are no tv shows shooting right now including Deal or no Deal so probably won't see a new show until after March unless the strike settles, a lot of people are out of work because of this writers strike, all crew members over a hundred thousand people are without jobs now.
