Was fleur de li the last episode of moonlight?!

Question: It was for a little bit, but not forever. Most shows (even in a normal, non-strike year) go on hiatus in December and early January. It is after November sweeps, before February sweeps, and people watch less television over the holidays, so they prefer to save some of their new episodes for better times. With the writers' strike, schedules are even more up in the air, but I've heard that they managed to film 12 episodes (of the 13 ordered in the initial order) and Fleur de Lis was only the ninth one, so that would mean that there are 3 more to se, whether in December, or (more likely) at the end of January.

According to tv.com (which is usually a reliable source), the next episode, Sleeping Beauty, will air on December 14th.

(December 7th has a tv special called "Movies Rock: A celebration of music and film" airing in Moonlight's spot.)

I think that Moonlight is probably safe for a full season pick-up (if the writers' strike allows) and/or for a second season. As of right now, it's numbers are improving. Plus, it does really well in the desirable 18-34 year old viewer group, which is usually a problem for CBS. Another factor is that CBS got burned a bit with the way they dealt with the cult show, Jericho, and they might be wary about doing anything with another cult show. Finally, the longer the writers' strike goes on, the less likely it is that pilots will be able to be developed for next year. Thus, networks might be more willing to keep relatively decently performing shows around, just to have something to air.

Matt Roush of TV Guide also thinks that Moonlight will probably stick around... http://www.tvguide.com/Ask-Matt/moonligh...

Hopefully it will be back for a full season at some point.

No way!! There are still 3 episodes til the season finale, but the next episode won't air until December 14th. Email me if you want to get screencaps, they're spoiler pictures, I didn't mean to see them. I can't wait!!
