The episode is called "Cautionary Tails"

It starts out Noah telling the family that they have to pack up and move because of the thing with West. Claire comes down with her new cheerleading uniform on and says she is not going with them. She is staying where she is. Noah is ready to tie her up and take her out by force buthis wife tells him to let her go to school and say good bye to her friends while they pack. Lyle is told in this scene by claire that Noah is a bad man but he has no idea what she is talking about. Claire leaves. Noah is wanting to find West to change her mind. His wife is going to take Lyle to school as well.

Meanwhile, Parkman is thinking about having had to trap his father in his own mind. Mollie comes in all happy with no boogie man and see him looking at the company photo and is willing to help him find the people in the photo but he refuses to use her again. It is at this point that he recognizes that his powers have matured and now he can put thughts in pople's minds as he not only gets Mollie to forget about helping him but he also gets her to sit down and finish her breakfast by thinking her to do so.

At the company, Bob is telling Suresh about having to go to where Claire is and take her away form Noah. Suresh is saying Noah is a friend and he has been working with him to bring down the company. The point is that Bob is telling Mohinder that he will have to carry a gun because Noah is a killer who just killed his old boss and he will have to work with a new partner now that Nikki is out of the picture with the virus.

In Japan, Hiro and his family are at his father's funeral and they are telling him as the oldest son he must eulogize his father at this point as is their tradition. He gets up to do so and walks away. Ando follows him and they talk for a while about his father's death and how he was too late to save him and this is when he decides to go back in time and fix that problem.

Back in California, Claire has found West and is telling him about the fact her family is leaving but she is staying. She wants him to trust her but he does not. He flies off but as he leaves on the ground in stones is the word "Sorry"

In New York, Parkman is on the phone at work trying to talk to the FBI about Kaito's Murder but his boss hangs up the phone on him and tells him the case is solved and to get back to work. Parkman uses his new power and gets his boss to give him another day to talk to Angela about the murder.

At a pool, Bob is taking Mohinder to meet his new partner, Elle, Bob's daughter who is lounging there in her bikini looking all sexy. Mohinder has trouble seeing her as a killer until she uses one of her electrical charges from her finger like a bullet from a gun to prove her marksmanship and blow up a glass on a table nearby. Mohinder is impressed. They wind up upstairs with Elle putting Mohinder's holster on him and telling her daay she wants to keep mohinder as a pet. Mohinder gets thm to allow him to call Noah and set up a meeting whereby they cn take him down without necessarily having to kill him and they agree but that is only because Noah calls and wants to use Molly to find West.

Back a week and Kaito and Angela are on the roof of the Devreaux as Hiro listens to them talk about what they have done for their boys and about the killer. Angela leaves and Hiro grabs his father and takes him back in time to his mother's funeral to remind Kaito what he is having to go through burying his father.

In California, Noah is looking at his picture of his death on the computer and looking at pictures of heroes to figure out what West looks like. This is when Noah figures out to go to the school because West has to be there too No sooner does Noah exit the door than West flys by and snatches him off the ground to find out if Claire is in on things. He is threatening to drop Noah if he does not tell him. Noah tells him and they both fall to the ground . Noah twists West's arm behind his back to take him to claire and get him to help change her mind about staying. No sooner does he do this han Mohinder calls to tell him where the boy is and it is not where the two of them are standing at that moment. Noah is sure it is a set up and turns to West for help..

Parkman is meanwhile with Angela using his new power to find out the truth about who kille Kaito. She tries to stop him but she can't. She tells him it was Adam and that Adam not only can not die but he cannot age any more. He wonders how old this man is and she tells him 400. He also is trying to get the name of a lady in the photo he can not identify and she fights him. Her nose bleeds from the strain and she tells him he is becoming his father.

At the funeral, Hiro and kaito have to watch as Kaito has to bury his wife and piant the letters on her head stone until he is dead. Kaito wants Hiro to take him back to die but Hiro refuses. Young Hiro show up with his Kensei sword pretending to be his hero and Hiro has to explain what is going on and what is important in life and why he should honor his father and mother. this is when Hiro realizes he must take his father back to die.

At Claire's school she has been called away from practice to speak to somone about the drunken cheerleader incident but the guy turns out to be Bob and he accidentally calls her Claire Bennett and she runs home to get away from him.

At Mohinder's Car Bennett gets in the car and talks with Mohinder about Claire and about Mohinder being indoctrinated into the company. Noah makes Mohinder take him to his partner.

Meanwhile, Bob has followed Claire to the house and Sandra recognizes him as Noah's general manager from the paper mill. His gun is out and he is there for Claire.

Back with Mohinder the two get out of the car and Elle come out from the distance. Noah recognizes her and is talking with her and a struggle ensues between Mohinder and Noah over a gun. When Noah wins that struggle Elle prepares to shoot Noah but West come flying in from behind her and throws her into a car knocking her unconscious.

Hiro returns his father to the time right before his death. He disappears and Ando shows up with he sword the moment before Kaito is to be killed. Adam shows up and gets ready to kill Kaito. just as he is about to do so time stands still.

At the house Sandra is tied up and Noah releases her. She tells him Bob has Claire. Noah tells her he will get Claire back. She wants to know how. He tells her a trade. West walks in with Elle slung over his back. They chain Elle to a chair, remove her shoes and stick her feet in water then throw water on her to wake her up. She tries to hurt them but winds up electrocuting herself instead. Noah reminds her that he has known her since she was a baby and they used to torture her with electricity to turn her the way she is. He tells her that her father was the one behind it all. He also tells her that she will tell him how to contact Bob. This is a father daughter thing.

At a hotel, Claire is tied up to a chair and Bob is getting a phone call for the trade. He is willing to do so, but; before he does he takes a liter of Claire's blood just in case. She says he can take it all if he will leave her family alone.

Back in the roof Hiro sees Ando and tells him that he may not be able to prevent death but he can find out who the killer is. As he gets closer he recognizes that it is Adam, or as he knows him Kensei.

Back with Parkman, he has left the interrogation room and in his hand is the picture with all the names on it on post its and the missing woman is Bob's wife who Angela had promised to keep a secret.

At the exchange the two girls are set to walk and change places bothe with their hands tied. Some how Suresh is there with Bob and West is there with Noah. Elle manages to free her hand as Claire manages to make it to West who Noah tells to get her out of there. Elle shoots Noah in the right arm. Then she shoots West before he can get away with Claire but they land on Claire. Noah gets back up and shoots Elle in the right arm too. Noah approaches Elle who Bob is over now and tells him that it will all be over if he just kills Bob. He points the gun at Bob and Suresh shoots Noah in the left eyes. Claire runs to cry over Noah's dead body but then West grabs her and flies off with her. Bob helps Elle to the car as Mohinder stands there like in the painting over Noah's dead body.

Back at the Funeral Hiro is ready to give his eulogy but he says he will not because in his mind his father is not dead not as long as he is alive to be the type of person, the type of hero his father raised him to be. After his short speech hiro had to clean the read paint from his mother's name to show the couple was now back together.

Claire gets home to tell her mother that Noah is dead. Sondra falls down and cries. Time passes as Sondra sits in a corner and Lyle is also in the house and Claire is lying in bed with West.

The last thing you see is Noah's body on a gurney some where life less with a hole in his head until it starts to fill in and he gets up wondering what just happened and where is he.

As Season 2 Episode 9, “Cautionary Tales” commences, things are heating up. The connection between Peter and his new buddy Adam Monroe (aka Takezo Kensei) has been revealed in last week’s “Four Months Ago”, as well as the fate of poor D.L. (You would think a guy who can phase anything could handle a bullet, but apparently not so much.) Meanwhile, Mohinder seems to have completely given in to the ways of The Company and his boss, Bob, who is selling himself as a good guy (and succeeding). And let’s not forget, all is not right in the Bennet household — but then again, what’s so new about that?

We begin in Heroes 90210, where Claire and HRG clash over West and Claire’s pep rally because, let’s face it, all the world’s wars can be traced back to what happens at pep rallies. Unbeknownst to the Bickering Bennets, Mohinder and Bob have arrived in sunny California with Elle to deal with the HRG problem. And oh yeah, did I mention that Elle is Bob’s daughter? In any case, they better hurry, because the Bennets are splitting town. Well, that was the original plan, anyway, and when you work (or used to work) for the Company, things have a way of changing fast.

In Japan, a mourning Hiro says goodbye to his father in his own way, by traveling back to the past, to the night of his father’s death. But as we all know by now, Hiro’s past-changing abilities are not exactly, shall we say, foolproof. Hiro, it should be noted, seems to have gain tremendous control over his powers of late, but will that be enough to save Kaito? Father and son have a heart-to-heart — in the past, no less — that will decide Kaito’s fate.

Back in New York, Matt Parkman and a rejuvenated Molly struggle with normalcy. Matt has also discovered a new facet of his power, a new ability he is not entirely reluctant to use on those close to him, like another certain Parkman. The power comes in handy when Matt goes back to an incarcerated Mama Petrelli for some answers. So who exactly is Adam Monroe, and what does he want with the last woman in the picture, the redhead? Victoria Pratt is her name, but what is her game?

“Cautionary Tales” is what we’ve all been waiting for ever since Season 2 commenced nine weeks ago. There is major progression in the HRG-Claire-Company storyline, something we’ve all been waiting for, and the arrival of which comes through like a breath of fresh air. The hectic pacing of the California storyline as HRG struggles to save his family, intercut with the somber, contemplative mood of the Hiro storyline, results in easily the best episode of Season 2 so far.

And how does it end?

Hint: Isaac Mendez hasn’t been wrong yet.

Well, sort of.

MIA for this episode: Sylar and the Wonder Twins, the Petrelli and Sanders clan.
