I didn't watch Larry King, but read about the interview, and Seinfeld did his usual knee-jerk reaction. He still thinks his SH** doesn't stink, and he's also upset right now because someone said his young wife plagiarized a cookbook. The only way she got it hoisted by Oprah is that Oprah and Jerry are friends.

I watched his show maybe a total of 6 times in all the years he was on, and my reaction was always that it was highly overrated. There were many shows better than Seinfeld's.

Whoa!! You are the FIRST person I've met that didn't like Seinfeld!! What's wrong with you, man??

I'm with you, I never did get into the Seinfield show.

Yes, he was geniunely upset, lol. If he wasn't then he never let up, which most comedians will do if they're joking...anyway, the show was not canceled but many thought it started to go downhill towards the end. I liked Seinfeld, it was one of my favorite 90's shows.

No, he is not alone. I have never watch Steinfield.

Jerry Seinfeld was a very humurous guy. I'm pretty sure that he was acting mad.

Anyways, I watch Seinfeld like it was a religion.

Well I could see why he would be upset. There is a really BIG difference between canceled, and quit.
But I am with you I was never a Seinfield fan.

i agree it wasnt that funny
i would prefer "friends" if it came down to the two
it wasnt worth him getting paid a million dollars an episode i can tell u that

Just viewed that clip. It looked and sounded like he was very upset. He kind of put Larry down. I Wasn't much on Seinfield, I watched off and on but Jerry was being a jerk. I think Larry was a bit upset that Jerry acted that way towards him. Not everyone is a Seinfield fan. Grow up Jerry you are not a god.

We watched Larry KIng last night and thought Jerry sounded like a big pompous bore. My husband commented that without the other cast members, he'd never have made it!

I never watched it when it was on prime time, but since it's been on syndication, I've seen em all!!

Seinfeld is a classic. One of the best. Jerry was acting mad for sure. That's his personality. :) HOpe this helps.

I can understand his reaction--I thought Jerry Seinfeld went on a little too long about it. It was obvious that Larry King didn't bother to do any sort of research on Jerry or his show because had he done so, he wouldn't have asked that stupid question.

I'm sorry, BUT, anyone I have ever known who did not "get" Seinfeld show humor, or really didn't think it was funny was pretty much socially retarded, especially Kathy M. @ Soundings. Loser. The reason why people didn't think it was funny is because they are "dim-witted", not "quick-witted". Seinfeld was all about a show of things that people always do that they shouldn't do, pretty much...so, the people who didn't get it are in essence "IDIOTS".

I loved Seinfeld in my teens. I'll still watch it if it's on. But it was an ensemble cast, and Seinfeld was only part of that. Also, I don't care how good your show is or was, or how many people watched it, how long it was on, or how many episodes there were. Larry King is generally quite a well-regarded interviewer and Seinfeld should not have spoken to him so rudely and arrogantly (and I believe he was only half joking when he was so indignant). What a pompous ***.

He seemed annoyed... some points it seemed as if he was trying to cover it up. I mean... you gotta have a little pride in what you do... the guy was number one and to have it suggested by one of the greatest on air personas ever in Larry King that he might of been cancelled had to of been a bit of a blow... like woah, shouldn't you know this ...you ARE the news. I just think it caught him off guard because I don't think that anyone has even suggested to him that he could of been cancelled. And when I was like 11-12 I didn't think the show was funny... but as I got older and matured a little more I started to understand and enjoy the Seinfeld humor VERY much.
