How are TV ratings calculated for recorded shows?!
Question: I'm aware of how the Nielsen ratings work in taking a sample of viewership of shows. My question is, if I were a part of the Nielsen survey, does a show I record (DVR, TiVO, etc.) get counted the same as a show I sat and watched at its regular time?

Yes, Nielsen now counts shows recorded on a DVR and watched within 7 days of its original broadcast in their ratings
