Do you think SNL is currently at its all time peak?!

Question: I really, really do. Did you see it this week with Seth Rogen? Oh man, it was very funny. I'm thinking of the sketch where Andy Samburg was a chef and Seth was a dog and they were playing music. Maya Rudolph looked so funny!! I don't particularly like "stoner" humor, but this time it was very good.

SNL peaked decades ago. Now, it's way past its prime, though I do believe that Andy Samberg is breathing some new life into the show.

BTW... you must be very young to not get the Swedish Chef and Rowlf skit. The Swedish Chef, Rowlf, and the band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem were all characters on the Muppet Show in the late 70's early 80's. Maya Rudolph was a character named Janice who was part of the muppet band called Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Animal played the drums, Janice played lead guitar, tambourine, and vocals, and Zoot played the saxophone. The Swedish Chef did a cooking segment and talked in fake Swedish, and Rowlf played piano during other segments.
Definitely not it's all time peak... sorry. I do laugh, but they were funnier in the 80's and 90's
I think it was much funnier back in the day. I don't even watch it much now. I hate the cartoon/animated stuff. The skits are usually too long now too. I was watching Mad TV on Sat, but that's not as funny anymore either. I love the Stuart skit though.
Not even close to the first year!!!!
oh heck no.. it peaked its second season..
If by 'peak' you mean 'all-time low', then YES!

Sorry, nothing can top the 1984-85 season and 6 out of the 8 years Phil Hartman was on.
First two seasons a lot better! why do think they bring back old cast members... like Chevy Chase on the last show... the original cast a fresher look then current group
LIKE Belushi,Achord,Garret,Chase,Curtain,Radn...
Oh, hell no. Not even close.
It's no where near as funny as it used to be. The writers suck, the sketches suck and most of the comedians suck! With a few exceptions here and there. It was so much funnier in the 80's and 90's. I don't even bother watching it anymore. I'll watch mad tv instead. And even Mad tv has gotten somewhat boring.
Not even close. It isn't at it's worst, but pretty damn close. It was awesome in the mid-80's and again at its best in the early 90s.
I dont think that show is funny anymore. It used to be hilarious.
No, it has seen better days.
SNL will always be great but the best cast in my opinion was with Chevy Chase, Jim Beluchi, Steve Martin, and their entorage. Nothing beats the "Coneheads", "The Bee" and "Supermarket Samarai" (I think that's what the skit was called). Those were the good ole days but Norm McDonald and Dennis Miller are fabulous too. The cast now is funny. SNL is the definition of funny, you won't get any wrong answers to this question.
