Damages on FX, 9/25?!

Question:

Damages on FX, 9/25?

What were some key, or plot changing events that occurred in this episode. I missed it when it was aired. I just need to know about any new info that might have been presented.

Answers: First of all, I have to say your name gave me a chuckle.

I'm bad with names so bear with me. The witness that ran away that may or may not have had pertinent information about the case found the sister-in-law and moved in. Patty and Frobisher's camp both figured out he was still alive because he used his credit card when he came back from Mexico. He made a video tape stating all he knew (which we didn't get to see, of course) and then took off, leaving sister-in-law an envelope with a very large check. As he was taking the dog out before his big departure he got hit (do I even need to say deliberately) by a car.

We also learn that Ellen uses Patty's beach house for a weekend with her boyfriend. The psycho-girl from the hospital goes to Ellen's job and says she's been sleeping with her fiance. She gets the real story from him and through a background check and realizes that she's got issues.

Her parents come to visit because her dad hit a crossing guard while they were fighting in the car. She goes to his deposition and advises him not to say anything about that, but he decides he needs to be honest.

Frobisher and Patty meet at a dinner where she's the guest speaker he keeps offering her settlement going up to $875 million (I think) and she basically tells him she wants to ruin his life. He hires a coach to prepare him for his depo with Patty.

As for the plot from the "present":
We see Patty at the beach house at the beginning of the episode in a somewhat fetal position breaking down. Tom can't get ahold of her and decides to go to the beach house to find her. When he gets there the place looks suspicious, I can't remember exactly what, blood on a wall or something. But we see Patty driving out of state.

Ellen has a bond hearing and her father says something about not being able to come up with the bail after the "settlement." They also show her boyfriend regretting the fight that they had that led her to Patty's in the first place and trying to call her to apologize.

It's hard to say what is vital and what isn't in this show because so many small things can be something meaningful, you just don't know it yet. Apparently, this week Frobisher and Patty are going to go at it in a deposition.
