Where did the Borg come from?!
Question:
Where did the Borg come from?
I know they were introduced during TNG when Q sent the Enterprise into their territory, but that's not what I'm talking about.
I mean, there had to have been a point in time where they were a race of non-cybernetic organisms. There had to have been a point where they were so consumed by the idea of perfection that it took over, whether the Borg as we know it was their intended evolutionary outcome or not.
Any ideas?

trekfan- yeah, they've never touched on the origins of the Borg. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas, or maybe one of the trek books says something...?
Answers:
They never said on the shows or movies. All we do know is they were from the Delta Quadrant of the galaxy.
