he was voiced by phil hartman, who was a comic genius from SNL and NewsRadio, who unfortunately was killed by his wife.
he also voiced and the family attorney, and Lyle Lanley, the monorail guy, and Zap Branagan from futurama was written FOR phils voice, but he died before he could voice the character.

no, i meant the episode of the simpsons where a swindler convinces the town to build a monorail across the town. however, it wouldnt surprise me if someone at Disney found someone that sounded just like Phil for their voice. either as a tribute to him, or just because he had the perfect voice for that kind of thing. i wish he was still around, he was so very funny.
