On 'Rock of Love' why did Big John pick off the ugly girls and send them home first?

you notice on that rock of love show ''Big John'' all of a sudden said you guys hang tight and access is not granted, your bags at the end of the driveway thanks for comin and they didnt get to meet and get to know Brett Michaels, they wouldnt say why they kicked them off but seems like couple of them were unnatractive, whats the reason they picked them off?

Probably done by the producers to add some shock and surprise to the show. Make people talk, thus improve ratings.

You have to remember this is 4th show on VH1 like this. They have to find ways to spice it up. Like allowing the crazy one to come back and then stay on the show. Like that wasn't done by the producers, give me a break.
