In the USA we only have a few British Television programs and they seem like old!

In the USA we only have a few British Television programs and they seem like old shows?

I'm wondering if these are even shows that are popular in the UK at all, the shows i see regularly from the BBC are...Keeping up Appearances ,Masterpiece Theatre (bo-riiiing) Mr. Bean, Monty Python and there's a show i haven't seen in a while i think is called red dwarf or something like that , there in a space ship and its .....dumb. anyway so is this what you guys watch when you watch TV?

by the way i don't mean to sound rude at all , i don't particularly like masterpiece theatre but i do like the others, red dwarf is "dumb" but that's a good thing when speaking of a comedy that is specifically meant to be dumb. i actually got a couple e-mails just now defending Britain's wonderful TV making abilities and lettn me know how dumb and shallow i am....so i felt it wise to clear things up . be nice.

I'm in Oz.they send them to us here as well on ABC,its a Gov. run channel,get the shows cheap I bet,they re-run them over & over
