Private Practice: Yes or No?

Who thinks that Private Practice, starring Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Montgomery, will last on ABC. I actually liked the preview episode and think that while it will have a small chance, it won't last long because its missing the great guys of Grey's Anatomy.

I see it killing both shows at this point.

They let Walsh go after bringing Mc Steamy on the show.

Then, they let Burke go leaving Yang jilted at the altar.

Then they failed George and brought in Meredith's little sister.

This is just too much change in too short a period of time and really now who wants to sit through two hours of the same show every Thursday?

Expect people th hate Private Practice because it is nothing like Grey's Anatomy. They are a fertility clinic. They don't even need Walsh's character at that place. They should keep her on Grey's and perhaps this may work. If they don't the vacuum created by Burke being gone and George being an intern still will suck the ratings into the basement. Walsh has to stay on the original show if this is going to work. She should get drunk, pregnant and happy and stay where she is. Private Practice has enough talent in the cast to make it on its own if people thinkit is new and not just more of the same. I would rather it be on a different night but that is their problem. They have it going head to head with ER.

At any rate, it will probably die because ER is too strong for it and because people will be tired after an hour of Grey's Anatomy. Walsh will end up back in the main show and Private Practice will either move time slots or be cancelled completely.
