That's tough, actually!. There are so many variables, but I'd have to say that if there is evidence supporting the admittance, it should certainly override the polygraph!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
The incidence of false claims of responsibilities (for crimes) is quite high, believe it or not! The onus is on the investigator to prove that the confession is valid and accurate!. One consequence of incarcerating an innocent "confessor" is that the guy who really did it is out there! And he might do it again!.

well, people have been known to trick themselves into thinking that a certain story, however untrue, is real!. They simply believe it and it becomes real to them!. Maybe he then had a change of heart, or poissibly he is covering for the real monster!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
A polygraph is inadmissable in court, therefore I am confused by the fact that an admission was not used as they are lawful!? An admission unless gotten illegelly is always used in court!. remember your rights everything you say can and will be used!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Polygraphs are not admitted in several locations so I would think the admission would hold credence!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
