My parents couldn't agree on a name, so a friend of the family made a suggestion and they both liked it!. My middle name does have a meaning!. My parents are both musicians and at the time were in a band together with my grandfather and my uncle!. My name is Rebecca Forest!. Long story short, my mom had already gotten a chance to name her two other kids from a previous marriage, so she let my dad name me!. When he was a little kid, he was extremely close to his "Grandma Goggy" as he called her, but her real name was Alice Rebecca!. So he decided to name me Rebecca!. He was also close with his other grandma, Forrest, so he chose that as my middle name!. The funny part about the story is when he was filling out my information for my birth certificate, he accidentally forgot an "r" in Forrest, so my name is spelled Forest!.
