What is the best way to allow a wound to scab over and heal?!
Question: Ah yes, the time honored tradition of scab farming. Properly tended a single scab can last for weeks. Allowing each crop of coagulated blood to harden then remove it to start a new batch of scabs.
I had a scab on my knee that lasted most of 7th grade.

air dry it darlin...and resist the urge to pick....but Hawk says that the pus that comes out makes for a good lube....so take your pick....
leave it alone
I've heard dog saliva works.
And they don't mind the licking.
I'd just put a bandaid on it and let it heal that way
the answer my friend is blowin in the wind
just leave it alone the scab is the bodys way of healing cleanly
the first 2 days put neosporin on a bandade and apply, after that let it air dry out.
let is breath it needs direct air to scab over faster
your body usually does it automatically unless you are a hemophiliac
pour whiskey over it
Leave it alone and keep it uncovered
Get some neosporin (they sell it in the first aid section of a drug store) and put it on a couple of times a day. It will stop the wound from being infected and it will heal much faster.
Pick, pick and pick some more. Then you can make a scab and booger sandwich with puss. Um - good.!! RScott
Put honey on it, heals wounds in half the time, the sugar in honey is food for cellular regeneration.
