I put some lime juice in a blender, add some water (Make sure it taste a bit bitter, then add THE best tequila for Margaritas "agave tequila" add some ice and blend away, salt the rim of a chilled glass and ENJOY!
I use Jose Cuervo with 1800 ultimate margarita mix.
They are reasonable price.
Also i crush up ice with blender.
The best tequila I have had so far is one called Azul...only sold in Mexico, but costs only $15 a bottle. (I brought 8 bottles back last time I went) Here in USA I would say the best is Don Julio Reposado around $50 a bottle. Jimador and Cazadores are decent to for about $20 a bottle.
I go for Cuervo Gold. And just use any Margarita mix. add some triple sec and you're good to go. If you don't like the taste, add more Cuervo, it won't take long before you're a happy camper! Cheap and easy, that's me!
