Yes, my job was eliminated 10 months ago. I still haven't found a decent job. It's tough out there and only going to get worse.
My company has about 30,000 employees. Last year, 700 positions were eliminated. However, that doesn't mean 700 people lost their jobs. Some new positions were created and others were moved to vacant positions. So all in all, about 300 people lost their jobs.
