Is LAID OFF to FIRED what SUSPENDED is to DELETED?!
Question: I do believe you're correct
Answers: I do believe you're correct
Well laid off might afford you some sort of unemployment benefits, and fired makes it a little more difficult..
Suspended is basically them telling you to pack your bags and leave without a choice..so yeah..it's like deleted.
I guess
Yes, I think that that is a good analogy.
:-)
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is the best one ALL day.. about the Y! lay offs..LOL...
Star for you..
That was great!!....lol
yes it would be
kind of but a lot different I think laid off means youmight still have a job to come back to
deleted is that you are GONE
You've got that right.
Apparently now, some companies no longer 'lay off' workers...they 'delete' them.
How scary is that?!
*excellent*
Haha-- nice one Joni...?
I hate analogies.
And they're synonyms.
Thank you Mrs.V. -_-
I don't think so. If you are laid off, like I was last August, but don't get me started THERE, they give you a severance pay and you can get unemployment. If you are fired, you suck and they can deny unemployment. Suspended, I thought meant they eventually let you back. I guy at my husbands work was suspended for a week due to attendance. it's about time, don't get me started THERE either... Deleted is like terminated, fired, byebye, to bad so sad, you're outta here! That's my interpretation anyway....
