I love it so much that I gave some friends a five-pound block of three year old aged extra-sharp cheddar for Christmas - and then went over and helped them eat some of it!
They gave me cheese as a gift too, with morel mushrooms in it.

I love me some cheese.......almost all kinds of cheese.
Probably do. Or did once. But as most of the taste comes from salt, and cheese's basically a big chunk of artery-hardening fat, I don't do much cheese these days.

There was a time that cheese could not stay in the house long enough.It went into omelettes, cheese sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, egg and cheese sandwiches. It was eaten with crackers, no crackers and by itself. Then the back area around the kidneys started aching, it became more difficult to urinate and the pain became a steady burn. Had to see the Dr. whose first question was" How much cheese do you eat?" X-Rays showed kidney stones of varying sizes.Stopped eating cheese, drank only one glass of milk occasionally and over a couple of months managed to pass several stones with excruciating pain. Have had no problems in the last40 years.
