I'm 32 and in college now too. I find it weird sometimes but I've noticed more and more people my age going back to school. I am also much more focused now and getting better grades than I would have when I was younger. It feels good to get the good grades!! I was a C student in school now earning A's ..
no
i've always been the youngest
no but i was one of the oldeest. something with the cut-off.
yes! I moved after my sophomore year in high school and at my new school you had to take government freshman year so I had to take it as a junior! I felt like a total dork! but my teacher ended up being my softball coach in the spring so he like loved me! haha...everyone kind of looked up to me after a while, it was kind of nice =)
I graduated at 16 from high school therefore I was always the youngest. I took my time in college because I didn’t feel like hurrying up after that. On my last year I realized I wanted to take some freshman year classes and I was with 17 year old all semester. Granted it was only a 7 year difference but I did feel a little bit weird. I can identify with your situation. However it’s not always bad. I found out, after the initial shock of “you are how old?” passes they tend to look up to you. That’s a self esteem upper. Enjoy. College is the best years of your life, no matter when you do it!
