Question: I REALLY want a Tundra...but I REALLY don't want another mortgage payment....
When I say older, I mean late 90's....yes, I am being lazy not researching this myself, but I figured if I could narrow down the searches to what you think, it would make my life oh so much easier.

Hey babe, I've always been a Ford man myself. I will tell you though, the Tundra ain't all it's meant to be. A friend bought a used '05 (I think), then rear ended an old Ford truck about a month after he got it. The dude in the Ford drove up to the next parking lot to clear the road and the Tundra had the engine sitting on the ground. The old Ford didn't even repair his, just drove it and the Tundra was totalled. My buddy bought a Ford after that with his insurance money.
BTW, I've never heard of the ball joint issue the other guys is talking about.

My dad has a '97 Chevy Silverado that he drives to work. It's getting the wheels drove off of it. I think it's got about 200,000 miles and still going strong.

Hmmm, I had a '99 Dodge Dakota that was rear ended by a Tundra. . . .not a scratch on my steel bumper, the Tundra had to be towed off. . . .
