Question: Last year for my birthday my Goddaughter sent me a beautiful bouquet of all purple flowers because she knows purple is my favorite color and that I am very sick and may not see my next birthday.

    In September my husband sent me some for my birthday.
    when i nearly died from a severe case of strep throat. they were hybrid mix of tulips and roses. dark red - shaped like a tulip - with nearly black stripes.


    2 weeks later when I was conherant i was sent a boquet of orchids (my fav)
