Anybody ever got accepted into National Junior Honors Society?!
Question: I just my letter yesterday while I was at a nursing home throwing a holloween party. My parents didn't tell me until this morning that I got an application and I am so happy!!! But I don't know if I should even try. I have a 9.5 grade point average (I think higher than that) and I'm in the school's Community Service Club and I participate more than some of the others in the club and I did some volunteer/leadership work at my elementary school helping run the penny drive and helping in their annual Field Day. I also baked for the homeless shelter during the holidays. But I wanted to know if anybody had in fact gotten through and been accepted and if I really should even go out for it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It's not all that great. But I do it because colleges look for it in the future. Like...it looks great on applications and stuff
