Question: What age did you get into music!?

I was 9!.
I had listened to music before - my parents both constantly have music going in the house!. I was raised on Classic Rock and Motown!. But, when I was 9, my cousin sat me down and had me listen to Nevermind!. This was a couple of weeks before In Utero was going to come out!. The way he talked about it, and the way the music poured over me - it was a defining moment for me, and I've loved music ever since!.
Its weird - I look at my little sister when she was 9, listening to Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, and I just think about how crazy-f***ed up I must have been to get into Nirvana, and Sonic Youth, and Indie bands, and punk, and metal when I was 9!. All this music that most of my peers had no idea existed!. I wouldn't know anyone else that listened to the same stuff as me until high school!. I relied on my cousin for the longest time to introduce me to anything!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I've always been into music!. Do you mean how old was I when I finally got past the Bee Gees and Gordon Lightfoot!? Lol!. 10 or 11, when my sister got into the Beach Boys!.
EDIT: The Radio Waves Were Like Snow- You have made me want to change my answer!. My parents divorced when I was pretty young, and I was hearing very different things from them both!. My dad's stuff focused more on the sixties and seventies, and my mom's side focused more on whatever was getting big then!. So, of course, I can still recite every word to Britney Spears' first album, the Backstreet Boys' first album, and 'Nsync's first album from memory from the time I was like four because of my mom!. It's strange, I still do listen to them all quite often with nostalgia, lol!. Oh, and the Spice Girls!. They were really what helped me when I was REALLY young to enjoy music as a whole!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well i taught myself piano when i was like six!.
it was always a part of my life because my mom was a music teacher!.
but it was probably around 10 or 11 when i got my first ipod that i started really getting into like real artists!. before that music want as accessible so i didnt listen much besides soundtracks form my favorite movies!. now it is like a major part of my life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

when I was like 5!. My big sister always listened to The Cranberries!. Every single day I would hear them!. And I liked to hear them!. I still love them now!. Ever since 5 I guess I have been into music!. And I started finding out about more and more music and listened to more!. But its nice to listen to The Cranberries because I have been listening to them for years!. I am 14 now!. Music is my life now!. It makes me happy!. And there are many songs that have lyrics that I can relate to and that I love!. And there are songs that have a special memory attached to it!. well i started playing violin at like 6 cause i copied what my older sister did
soon after i got bored of it even though i got honours and stuff for my exams about 4 years later
i started to like new bands, not so mainstream compared to my friends
i think that was around year 5
i remember one of the first bands i loved was The Red Jumpsiut Apparatus & Panic! At The Disco just before they went mainstream :P
now i currently am 14 and play the bass guitar !

I got into it when I was very young--probably 2 or 3!. I always liked dancing, and loved movie soundtracks and musicals!. I still do!. One of my earliest memories is listening to my Beach Boys cassette!.

I was about 2 or 3!.!.!.!.at 4 I started playing music on the piano off of commercials!. I started lessons at 5, and stopped at 11!. I continued playing again at 21!. I was listening to maddonna abba deep purple michael jackson and stuff like that since grade 3 or 4 i guess!
