yea i get a little teary-eyed!. Its just cuz it hits home!. It reminds me of someone i cared about very much who isn't here anymore!. And also the line "Cause i know i don't belong here in heaven" gets to me b/c ive done some things im not proud of and if i died anytime soon, i don't think my soul would be prepared for it!. but im working on that!. no, i don't!. but it is a sad song!. eric clapton wrote that song, after his son died!. he fell from a window when he was 4 or 5 years old!. he may have been younger than that i can't remember!. but that's why he wrote it!. true story for clapton!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't cry - I'm too much of a hard-*** for that!. But it is definitely one of the saddest songs I've ever heard!. The subject matter is utterly tragic and heartbreaking, and Eric's vocals are sublime!. Such a simple song, yet so effective!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Eric Clapton has had a lot of tragedy in his life!. Songs like that have to be his way of coping with it!. It doesn't make me cry but it is a very soft and thought provoking song!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
yes i do!. because it is a terrible song!. it was tragic but, his music went down hill after that!. until recently did he get back to his roots
