Question: Rock and Pop: What do you think of "Emo"!?
This is a two part question!. Don't judge anyone based on their answers, please!.
Part One: What do you think of the MUSIC part of it!?
Part Two: What do you think of the STYLE part of it!?
To Answer myself:
I don't really mind SOME of the music!. I only listen to MCR the odd time, but that's like 1 or 2 songs!.
The style, I LOVE for some reason!. I think that most of the hairdos are wicked cool, and unique!. Others I'm not crazy about (like adding 34206982346 colors!.) And girls around here seem to really like the emo look (I would know, I have it, haha!.)
I'm not big on the whole cutting yourself stuff or doing drugs or any of that!. But for the most part, SOME emo isn't as bad as what people say!. Just don't cut your guts out!. The looks = awesome, the music = okay!.!.!. that's my opinion!.

I like some of the music and some of the bands are actually quite good!. I just don't like the type of songs where they are like kill me now that much!.
The style is cool except the cutting part I know some people who used to cut and it messed them up bad!. I don't think one should hurt themselves to release their pain!. part one: it really depends what you consider emo!. the purest form, i do not like!. i personally do not think of (at least most of) MCR's songs as emo (mostly their newer stuff is), but other people do!.
part two: i love emo fashion!. i dunno, i just think it's cool!. it's unfortunate that people think they can't bring in other styles to make it their own though!. again, pure emo is kind of boring now that so many people are doing it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Music is good!. I listen to them a lot!. Although some people have this prejudiced opinion that emo equals suicidal!. Still, I really couldn't blame them, what with all this crap the media keeps on spreading!. Emo rock contains deep lyrics, and that's what I like most about it!. On the other hand, the emo fashion looks a bit gay to me!. Just an opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i like the music and i'm ok with the style!. but what i can't stand is when people start making fun of people who have depression and cut themselves!. they don't know what pain they are going through whether it's seeing parents beat each other up (or themselves getting beat up), family ruining each other's lives, no friends, etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Guys that look emo look like girls and I hate emo looking guys and the girls look like they just arrived from hell!.!.!.and not in a good way, they look frikin creepy at least the scene kids!.

I think it's really ridiculous!. They say their all emotional and all that crap so why not just label themselves as bipolar!? The hairstyles would be ok if they weren't so overrated!. As for the music, I think you know what I have to say!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am a fan of both First and Second wave Emo bands!. Stuff like Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas is the Reason, Mineral, Rites of Spring!.
