Penderecki! I haven't listened to him in such a long time!. "Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima" is amazing!. Very dark and dramatic song!. I love his use of string instruments, he's a genius!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's very,very dark IMO,even scary/disturbing sometimes!.Some interesting instrumental effects too,although I cannot understand how they were produced!.
It's certainly not a piece I could listen to with ease everyday,but it is extremely strong!.Penderecki's great!.

That was a once in a lifetime experience for me!.!.!.literally!. It belongs in everyone's cultural heritage!.!.but it is not a musical work I would want to hear ever again!. I am no lover of dissonant music!. Nevertheless the shear dramatic power of his music paints a perfect picture of horror!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Wow, I remember listening to this long ago, possibly in my music theory class!. I'm gonna have to go listen to it again because I can't remember what it sound like at the moment!. I recall it being rather creepy, but an interesting piece!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
