Dr Who was first broadcast in 1963!. Rock 'n' Roll Parts 1 and 2 was recorded in 1972!. (Part 2 was the instrumental part)
The two were put together by the Timelords (later to become the KLF and the JAMMS) on the UK No1 single - Doctorin' The Tardis
