I've been in about five or six bands, and most all of the names come from some inside joke!.
We were eating lunch!. One guy was eating soup:
"Woah, look at that!.!.!.that's one fat noodle!"
Band name: Phat Noodle (Jam Band)
"You know, if Gore becomes president, you know what this country will be!? One big constitutional!.!.!.anarchy!."
Band name: The Constitutional Anarchy (Experimental)
We were practicing:
"Nathan, you have a small foot, put one of my shoes on!."
"Man, I could live in that shoe, it must be like!.!.!.a size 17!"
Band name: Size Seventeen (Rock)
We were at school:
"Hey, what the hell is a bush pilot!?"
"It says here in the dictionary that it's 'one who pilots the bush'!.!.!.that's all it says!."
"Hah, lets name our band that"
Band name: Bush Pilot (Rock)
We were practicing:
"Hey I had a screwed up dream about a clown named Mopey who was crying, and ascended into heaven via a large batch of helium balloons!."
"Wtf!"
Band name: Mopey's Big Day (Acoustic Rock)
Yeah just give it time and a good band name will come along!. Try to make it too deep and serious and it will be corny rather than catchy, Feel free to use any of those names, all those bands are long gone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My advice is to find a dictionary, open the page to a random word (random page) and look at it, could this be your band name!? Takes long but at least then you can pick a good complicated word that you know the meaning of (and expand your vocabulary for your lyrics!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

it depends what kind of message your band wants to put out there!. i mean, u could be "knives and flowers", if you wanted to go for the guns n roses effect, but i think it could mean something more!. maybe "toxic heart"!? it really depends!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
