All state choral audition songs?!
Question: All state choral audition songs!?
I'm going to auditon for all state chior this year and my voice teacher wants me to do "Sebben Crudele",but I don't really want to do an Italian aria!.Any ideas!? I think the other assigned choral piece is the Magnificat by JS Bach if that helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have to agree that it's usually best to listen to your voice teacher on these occasions!. If you speak to her and say that you'd rather not do an Italian aria, then I'm sure she'll suggest something else suitable for your voice which will show it off best!. I'm not sure that learning a new piece specially for an audition is ever a good idea (trust me, I've made that mistake a few times!)!. Stick to what you know/do best, and good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Follow your teacher's advice!. In all honesty, she probably knows your voice (and what will help it improve) better than you do!. That's the whole reason we have teachers!.!.!.
