While trying to learn this song i stumbled upon these lyrics on the album "Obscured by Clouds" and the song "Childhood's End"!
I stumbled upon the first verse and tried to figure out what it means!.!.!. anyone here know!?

Well first of all it wasn't Dave Gilmour who wrote the song to begin with it was Roger Waters!. Roger wrote most of the lyrics for the band but at the time he had little confidence in his vocals which is why Dave and Rick Wright did most of the vocals in those days!. Anyway the song is adapted from a poem (I forget the author's name or the name of the poem) about growing up!. Thus the name "Childhood's End"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it has to do with a nightmare, possibly because of abuse and each morning he awakes to have a clean slate but it always comes back!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
