gg760 has it!. Epi SGs are good beginner guitars that normalyl come in like a $200 pack with amps and stuff and can get pretty heavy and alot of rhythm guitarists are using them alot these days for some reason, cuz they also play great lead (or at least the real gibsons do)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

my guitar teacher uses a model like that that is over ten years old and beats it unmercifully and without pity!.!.!.and it still sounds decent!.

3!.Go to a local independently owned music shop and pick up and play some of the available models!. See what feels right for you!. Any of the brands that are widely available will work for playing rhythm!.
I would, and always do, suggest staying the heck away from the SG!.!.!.if your getting a gibson get a les paul!.!.!.and if you're gettin a les paul get a gibson!.
