Singing and Guitar Lessons...help..please.. :)!

Hi everybody !
I am deciding to take vocal lessons!. Where I want to take the lessons, they offer a " Band Program " where it allows the student to have a one hour private lesson with the teacher!. Half hour to the piece of music the band chose to do, and other half on improving your vocal abilities etc!.!. They also have the non-band program where it only does the half hour on improving yoru abilities!.
I am interested in singing A LOT, I'm currently 14 now!. I want to learn the guitar enough so that I can play music when I sing, for example, if I wanted to sing Bubbly, I would be able to play some guitar with it!.
I am going to enroll into the Band Program for vocals, but I am going to do non-band for guitar!. What do you think on this !? Will it help me with my playing and singing !? Its pretty expensive for the band program!.!.heh!.
I really want to get somewhere with my music; is it weird for me to write music at my age !?

i think its pretty cool you want to learn how to play the guitar,i actually took lessons believe me its worth paying for!.no its not weird to write music at your age i think it would probably help starting at a young ageWww@Enter-QA@Com
