My Local so-called Classic Rock station just lurrrrves to play Nickelback and Buckcherry!. The best part, they came out with a commercial making fun of Wolfmother!.

still, its 90's and i find a lot of classic rock stations play stuff from the 90's, like nirvana, soundgarden!. cause they are the future classic rock stars!.
i also heard a classic rock station play that brand new trews song!. it may not be classic rock, but man the trews sound A LOT like classic rock!. i also heard foo fighters on a classic rock radio station once!.!.!.but they rarely play new artists!. it just shows that the foo fighters and the trews are that kick ***!Www@Enter-QA@Com

80s rock has gone from making an occasional early Van Halen appearance to being on a lot!.

I guess technically I think that song would be Classic Rock, but it sure isn't Classic Oldies Rock which is usually what those kind of stations focus on!.

On the local (Columbus) classic rock station!.!.I have heard at least 3 different Green Day songs, Soundgarden, Metaliica's Nothing Else Matters and the Unforgiven, and Nirvana!.
Now!.!.in and of themselves!.!.!. I have nothing against ANY of the above!.!.!. except that NONE are classic rock!.!.
It seams the formula has changed to Rock, of at least 10 years old!.!.!.!. I had once heard and embraced the concept!.!.!.that Classic Rock was any Rock 25 years or older!.!.!.which is fine by me!.!.!.early 80s should be Classic Rock now!.!.!.!.

I was listening to Hard Attack (Channel 27 on Sirius, which supposedly features heavy metal) and it does and I like the station, but I swear to God they played "Bleed it Out" by Linkin Park!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
